Why Mobile Phone Upload Speed Is Faster Than Computer

Im paying for 100mbps and on my phone i always pull near 80-90mbps all the time but as soon equally i go onto my pc i am getting nearly 9 at max! Why is this? i am using a adapter and the indicate is very strong. Anybody know why or anything i can do to ready this?

Im with vodafone and the model is a HG658c
Not certain what model the adapter is only its a tp-link

Depending on how old the adapter is, information technology might non support the newest wifi standards and therefore be slower.

I'd still endeavour updating soft- & firmware though, sometimes actually helps.

but updated it at present and im yet getting the aforementioned results. The adapter is pretty new says on the side of it that information technology supports upwards to 600mbps

Information technology would help a bit to know the hardware. We have the model number on your router/modem. What virtually the adapter and phone?

On my computer, when I pull upward the connection status (Command Console->Network and Sharing->Change adapter settings->right click on wifi->status) information technology gives me the link speed. What is your link speed?

A wired connection? I assume everyone here was thinking you were talking about wifi vs wifi.

And then, the question "Why is my wifi faster than my ethernet?" is far more common that I would expect. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be one answer for everyone. Sometimes the issue is on the computer side (drivers usually), sometimes it is the ports or the cablevision, and sometimes the outcome is on the router side (firmware and resets take fixed this). And sometimes it has to do with settings on your computer or your router.

Await? If information technology's Ethernet why aren't you using the one on the motherboard? Also if you do you need to get to the motherboards manufacturer website and download the newest LAN drivers.

And so, the question "Why is my wifi faster than my ethernet?" is far more mutual that I would expect. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be i reply for everyone. Sometimes the issue is on the reckoner side (drivers normally), sometimes it is the ports or the cable, and sometimes the issue is on the router side (firmware and resets have fixed this). And sometimes it has to practise with settings on your reckoner or your router.

well i apply wifi aswell. i have a wifi card but its the same outcome. i volition run across if all my firmwares are upward to date and see if that solves this problem.

Also apply the Ethernet and take out the WiFi carte if possible as to avert whatsoever problems.

only took out the carte du jour and im sticking with ethernet. one trouble has pb to another now im getting this mistake lawmaking while trying to install the lan driver (-5001 : 0x80070002) any ideas??

This is unlikely, simply perchance your LAN port on the PC is set to the incorrect speed. Normally it configures itself to the correct speed automatically, but perhaps this time this isn't the case?

You want this to either be set to "Machine Negotiation" or "100Mbit/south Fullduplex" with your router - it doesn't support 1Gbit/due south, even if the cable and PC do.

just got ane of my friends to bring over his wifi booster and im getting 20mbps. And then im guessing its the one that i accept is the trouble! Going to purchase a skilful new one and see if it sorts out my problem. Thanks for your help But need to find out now how to fix this fault ha
